CLIMATE AND GEOGRAPHY

Chilean soils have special characteristics shared by only 1% of the world’s soils. Situated between 30° and 45° South latitude, the country has warm, dry summers and cold, wet winters, providing an optimum environment for producing high quality agricultural products.

Chile has highly fertile soil, abundant water from the Andes and natural barriers that protect its products from phytosanitary and zoosanitary threats.
